Kapese Village, Turkana
Kapese Village is located in a remote corner of Turkana, the largest county in Kenya.
Kapese was built in 2015 and remains owned by AFEX but is leased in its entirety to Tullow Oil.
Currently, Kapese Village can accommodate a maximum of 468 guests in the current accommodation configuration:
Kapese has extensive kitchen facilities and a large dining room, capable of accommodating 132 diners at a single sitting.
Recreational facilities include a large, shaded BBQ area, two large recreation facilities including table football, pool table, reading and seating areas, and large format TVs with DVD video library, indoor and outdoor gyms, an outdoor cinema for film nights, and a large coffee shop with fast Wi-Fi and a shaded outdoor seating area.
Office facilities include eight (8) modularised client offices with meeting rooms, internet access, printing facilities, and fast office internet access and telephony.
Camp services include Reception and key management services; full laundry services; guaranteed electrical power 24 x 7 hours, up to 2000 kwh per hour; unlimited potable water, and fast Wi-Fi and VSAT communications.

- 24 x single occupancy en-suite rooms complete with Digital Satellite TV services (24 beds)
- 90 x twin occupancy en-suite rooms complete with Digital Satellite TV services (180 beds)
- 50 x quadruple occupancy rooms (200 beds)
- 16x quadruple occupancy staff accommodation rooms (64 beds)
