AFEX applies a systematic and process driven approach to controlling and monitoring risks that arise from the company’s day to day activities.
Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Supervision
At AFEX our QHSE Officers are selected for their training and prior relevant experience, and their ability to promote a positive health and safety culture across the organization and in their day-to-day dealings with clients, suppliers, contractors, sub-contractors, camp residents and the public.
At all AFEX sites activities are Risk Assessed through audit and Job Safety Environmental Assessment (JSEA) in order to identify and document the risks involved in any given task. This ensures we are able to implement effective controls to reduce the risk to “As Low as Reasonably Practicable” (ALARP).
Through the risk assessment, JSEA, audit, and inspection process our QHSE Field Supervisors are able to continually guide, supervise and improve site safety during AFEX operations.
